Home Care Program

With all of our injured patients’, it is very important to get them started on a Home Care Program as soon as possible, particularly if they are off work.  Depending on their injury and their age, we have constructed a H.E.P. for every individual who is injured and treats in our facility.  Often times we can start this right away but generally speaking, we will provide formal care for the first week to two weeks and then continue this with patient participation at home particularly our post-op patients.  We will often not only instruct them on what to do such as certain stretching or simple exercise routines, but will dispense DME equipment to assist this entire process such as exercise bands and balls, IF Units or other in home modalities that will assist the patient not only in getting better faster, but will minimize their pain elevations from their in home routines and/or after they go back to work.

Our programs work well and continue to assist the patient with their injuries.  The H.E.P. we implement cuts formal treatment down by 22% and find that we can also get patients’ back to work much faster than traditional ways, however, patient compliance is always key.
