(Dr. Cronk is one of the leading authorities in x-ray measure and digitization.  He and his colleagues and associates of NID continue to perform outstanding work in this field and have assisted 100’s of Physician’s throughout the country and world wide establish exact computerized measure of angular motion segment integrity of spinal injuries offering a digital analyses that assists the treating physician with the best ligamentous information not available in any other way.)

Dr. Cronk allows the treating Physician as well as all parties involved, Attorney’s, MD’s and Claims Adjusters and NCM’s, to visualize exactly to the measure of <0.1mm, where the displacement of certain elements of the vertebrae and spine can be and why.  This is also important when approaching case value and legitimizing in the insurance’s eyes as well as jury’s and other involved elements, the objective reasoning of ongoing pain as well as other important factors.  But most important, it establishes real objective factors of injury that can be reproduced and further, rated through the AMA Impairment Ratings Guidelines, 5th Edition Rating scale and charts for higher, (ie.. minimum of 20-25% Impairment Rating), rating establishing higher value on personal injury cases.  This is a fair, accurate and reasonable measure that is acceptable to all parties, regardless of the outcome, because it is reproducible and objective evidence of the ligamentous injury at hand.

We utilize Dr. Cronk to review our x-rays and digital x-rays for computerized digital measure so that we can establish the extent of impairment for our personal injured patient’s.  These would be patient’s from car accidents, motorcycle and bus accident to slip and falls and work injuries.  This is important for the insurance companies as well as the Attorney’s who represent the victims injured so that proper future medical issues can be presented in a fair and reasonable manner with good quality and solid medical backing. This is what we do and try to accomplish for all professionals involved and further, for our patients.

There are no boundaries when it comes to the establishing data on injuries and is what we specialize in here at Spine and Joint Institute of Waukegan.
